JOB SUMMARY

Are you energized by helping people successfully navigate change through acquiring new skills? We're seeking a Trainer to join our team to assist with the training efforts that arise from project as well as organizational change initiatives. The Change Management Trainer will assist with the planning, development, and implementation of training programs driven by change initiatives within the organization. They will be responsible for assessing training needs, designing curriculum, developing materials and facilitating training sessions associated with process and system changes. The ideal candidate will thrive on collaboration, partnering with the Change Management team, engaging with project stakeholders, and aligning with ONEOK’s training-focused groups.

This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.

Job Profile Summary

Manage and lead a small team of trainers partnering with the Change Management team to deliver training solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of training programs and initiatives to support organizational change efforts. You will work closely with the Change Management team and stakeholders to assess training needs, design curriculum, and deliver effective training solutions. This is a critical role to ensure our projects that need training are able to accomplish it with excellence.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Change Management team to understand recommendations from project assessments in order to identify training needs and develop training plans that align with organizational and stakeholder goals.

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and multimedia presentations.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Partner with Change Management team to develop and execute change management strategies and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to facilitate understanding and acceptance of change initiatives.

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and change management, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance organizational learning and change readiness.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies is a plus.

  • Relevant certifications such as Prosci Change Management Certification or ATD Training Certificate are desirable

Expected Salary Range

$84,000.00 - $126,000.00
