Scope of leadership role The Solutions Team Program Manager is required to execute projects within a business. Develops and ensures compliance to Regal project management processes. Directly leads high profile and 3-5 stage gate programs for selected business segments execute a single strategic project or multiple projects across a business .This individual must facilitate agreement on project scope, define expected benefits, identify resources required, develop project plans/timelines, execute according to plan and communicate project status and progress to all stakeholders regularly. In this role, the Technology Project Manager will: Key Responsibilities Project Planning: Plans and manages timelines, budgets and teams to achieve portfolio deliverables across multiple businesses or large project portfolios within a business. Risk Management and communication: Ensures counter measure plans are being developed and implemented for programs that don't meet schedules. Establishes a culture of project management process compliance. Cross Functional Collaboration: Being a global team, it will be required to make sure the global team is engaged and there is structure and methodology in communication cadence management . Project Execution and Monitoring: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively address any deviations from the plan. Implement effective project tracking and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed. Ensure compliance to existing Regal project management processes and recommend process improvements when appropriate. Mentor engineering and other cross functional teams to meet project deliverables. Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns. Prepare and present project reports, summaries, and metrics to senior management and other stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes, challenges, and areas for improvement. Use lessons learned to refine project management processes and enhance future project execution. Required Education / Experience / Skills: The ideal candidate will have experience leading major product introduction, transition or cost out (VAVE) projects that require management of a cross-functional teams (local and remote teams). Good listening skills and strong written and verbal communication skills are required. A strong level of training in project management fundamentals will ensure solid project plans and timelines are developed before execution begins. Bachelor Degree or equivalent related experience 5 years' experience, 3+ years project management experience using Stage-gate/Waterfall methodology for New Product Development Projects in Manufacturing based environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be results driven and willing to operate in an environment of often conflicting priorities and compressed timelines. Ability to make difficult decisions and advocate to deliver performance behind relevant work plans Demonstrated ability to develop detailed project plans and execute according to those plans. Good understanding of business and financial acumen. Design for Lean Six Sigma preferred Demonstrated experience in: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with attention to detail Ability to meet tight deadlines, work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload Work in fast-paced, collaborative work environment with a bias towards increasing speed to market Work in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team environment Use of Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years; 5 years project management experience.
