We have an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Central Command’s Directorate of Intelligence (USCENTCOM J2) with strategic and tactical all-source intelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production to satisfy USCENTCOM’s primary lines of effort (LOEs). This will include analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that help protect the Department of Defense (DoD) and advance USCENTCOM J2’s priorities in the Middle East.

More About the Role:

  • As an All-Source Intelligence Analyst, you will conduct timely, relevant, in-depth research and analysis using qualitative and quantitative methodology to support the Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) production cycle while adhering to Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) 203, 206, and 208.

  • Conduct analysis on regional and functional topics, including counterterrorism, counter insurgency, political and military capabilities, defense issues, and provide support to targeting, collections, and plans, as required.

  • Produce IC-coordinated All-Source intelligence analytic products on foreign intelligence entities capabilities, intentions, willingness, and opportunities to threaten U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, resources, activities, and interests worldwide.

  • Provide analytic support to senior officials, collectors, and operators throughout the DoD, IC, and federal law enforcement agencies/organizations in support of USCENTCOM J2’s programs, functions, and mission activities.

  • Produce, support, and review USCENTCOM and DIA-unique product lines to include, but not limited to, Defense Intelligence Digest (DID) articles and notes, Response Memos, Defense Intelligence Tabloids and/or graphics, assessments, and briefings in accordance with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) analytic tradecraft standards.

  • Conduct daily research of raw intelligence to identify potential threats to DoD personnel, activities, and interests in the region.

  • Identify emerging threats, trends, and patterns and nominate strategic production when appropriate.

  • Provide all-source analysis support to DoD Enterprise collectors and operators to improve awareness of threats to DoD personnel, resources, activities, and interests within the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).

  • Present formal and informational briefings to support USCENTCOM J2’s priorities and be able to defend analytic results to a variety of audiences in support of their mission readiness requirements.

  • Identify intelligence gaps, leverage, and help create collection requirements to fill those information gaps, evaluate intelligence reporting, and identify collection opportunities through collector engagement.

  • Integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners.

  • Have the opportunity to support advanced analytics initiatives, knowledge management projects, and both lead and support projects, that satisfy national-level intelligence priorities.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI required for all Levels:

  • Junior Level: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree).

  • Mid-Level: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • Senior Level: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years. Master;s degree in a relevant field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (a Bachelor’s degree and an additional 5 years of related senior experience may be substituted for the Master’s degree).

  • Expert Level: Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience, with at least a portion of that experience within the last 2 years. Master’s degree in a relevant field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • All-Source Analysis experience.

  • An in-depth understanding of the intelligence cycle.

  • Experience with ODNI’s analytic tradecraft guidance and experience writing to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD’s), specifically ICDs 203, 205, 206, and 208.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.

  • Experience using the following tools: NGT, TAC, RMT, CRATE and CHROME.

  • TS/SCI clearance required.

  • ODNI’s Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Qualification (IFPC)

  • PACE

  • Knowledge of USCENTCOM and DIA product lines

  • All-Source Intelligence Analysis experience focused on the USCENTCOM AOR

  • Deployment experience in the USCENTCOM AOR

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$70,900 - $148,900
