We are hiring a Transportation Team Lead for our award winning, gated retirement community. The Transportation Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the usage of motor vehicles in the community motor pool which includes fleet maintenance records, maintaining vehicle inspections and oil changes, repairs, safety equipment and all pre-trip and post-trip documentation.

Compensation: Starting at $23 per hour, commensurate with experience

How you will make an impact:

  • Prepare vehicles for use and ensure vehicles are available and ready when required

  • Logs and tracks vehicle usage

  • Assist with the transporting of residents and staff with or without wheelchairs

  • Help maintain the daily transportation schedule, enter billing into the work order system

  • Assist with daily supervisory functions

  • Ensure driver work schedules are prepared and monitors requests for changes

  • Assist with minor repairs on vehicles as appropriate

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

  • One to three years’ experience in transportation services.

  • Office experience is preferred

  • A current and valid Commercial Driver’s License Class C (or higher) with Passenger endorsement is required. (CDL –P licensure)

  • A current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
