Manager, Treasury


This job exists primarily because of the Company’s need to actively manage its liquidity, cash, credit risk, compliance & control, counterparty risk and financial risk exposures from the financial market, each of which individually or collectively, may adversely impact its financial performance of the company. Other related responsibilities include internal & external stakeholders management and managing other ad-hoc treasury projects.

Cash Management

  1. To establish, evaluate and propose appropriate Cash Management solutions to ensure optimum liquidity structure.

  2. To establish the cross border projects such as Global RFP for Cash Management

  3. To execute FX transactions- FX Spot and FX Forward

  4. To monitor cash balances in respective account to assure no overdraft position and to ensure idle funds are remitted to Corporate or place in FDs.

  5. To prepare consolidated weekly cash position report for Management Reporting

  6. To review and update flowchart for Cash Management Structure

  7. To review and approve PO and banking related payment

Liquidity Management

  1. To manage the Corporate’s cash flow and borrowings to ensure sufficient liquidity for the Group

  2. To establish and review intercompany loan facility and maintain information for ICO loan reporting purposes.

  3. To issue RFP for Global Credit Card Solution to ease the liquation of the Group and to achieve better Control and Compliance on Card Management.

Risk Management

  1. FX/IR/Oil Riska. To establish Global Hedging Strategy and Policyb. To Identify and evaluate FX/IR risk of the Group and provide recommendation for appropriate action to mitigate FX risk.c. To Manage and monitor FX/IR hedging portfolio of the Groupd. To incorporate, review and support Commercial Team for matter relating to Financial Risks associated with Transactional Activities or Commercial Contracts.e. To incorporate a strategy to measure the Effectiveness of the Financial Instrumentsf. To maintain and implement FX Management Segment in ACS123 (Billing System) for effective and better governance on Billing System.

  2. Counterparty Credit Riska. To Manage the Group’s counterparty credit risk frameworkb. To develop processes and procedures to promote adoption and adherence to counterparty counterparty credit risk’s parameters.

  3. Policy and Compliancea. To establish, update and maintain Treasury’s related Policy and Operating Manuals (POM).

  4. Othersa. Any other ad-hoc or new assignmentb. To lead process improvement projects and initiativesc. To prepare Monthly Treasury Reports for Management Reporting purposes.


  • A degree in finance, accounting or business management

  • At least 6 years of experience in Treasury function

  • Understanding of treasury products such as foreign exchange contract, FX contract is a must

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and computer applications (preferably SAP)
