This position fully supports to manage Korea FP&A
Partners with a responsible Business unit for managing OPEX, forecast, budgets, long-range plans for managing OPEX, forecast, budgets, long-range plans
Prepares monthly closing and reports
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in local and corporate reporting, interface effectively with local management and regional team
Demonstrates the ability to manage the Korea P&L and can influence decision-making related to investment allocation and financial management
Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the execution of job responsibilities.
Manage sales discounts/government rebates from financial perspectives, local tax, and payments for foreign currency collaborating with the shared service team and external service providers
Expected Areas of Competence
Understanding on financial statement and accounting, and ability to prepare financial statement.
Prepares for budget, bi-annual projection and assists in developing comprehensive business plans, consolidation, reporting packages in a timely and effective manner with reasonable accuracy.
Provides ad hoc reporting and planning support
Input data into Budget Planning System (Hyperion) and prepare budget reports through Hyperion
Prepare Corporate Budget package
Analyze product performance and prepare presentation materials
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in local and corporate reporting, interfaces effectively with local management and regional team
Influences others through well-reasoned arguments and catalyzes action to meet critical objectives.
Drives departmental effectiveness, continuously identifies areas for improvement
Assesses risk and provides alternative solutions and contingency plans to ensure that financial commitments are met.
Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the execution of job responsibilities.
Thinks in a clear and decisive manner, remains calm under adverse conditions and reaches independent, reasoned solutions when required.
Experiences Desired
Demonstrated ability to work within a complex, changing environment to deliver value-added results.
Demonstrated track record of driving and implementing changes to business operations which have resulted in enhanced business performance and improvement.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas, influence others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives and to achieve results in a culturally diverse workplace.
Broad-based financial management experience.
Experience in working with multiple levels of management with competing demands on time and resources.
A minimum of 10-year experience in a medium to large international organization
Knowledge Desired
Mastery of accounting principles, and financial analysis.
USCPA preferred
Knowledge of performance measuring techniques and variables.
Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry environment and competitive forces.
Fluency in Korean and English
