Kohler Co. Senior Accounting Analyst in SAO PAULO, Brazil

Location: São Paulo

Description of activities/responsibilities:

• Make accounting records in the statutory books (USGAAP and BRGAAP);

• Routines related to the Accounting area:

• Payroll accounting and analysis;

• Perform monthly and annual closing routines, ensuring compliance with the company's schedule as well as disclosure deadlines;

• Prepare explanations of the biggest variations occurring in the month and year;

• Calculation, accounting and declaration of income taxes and monthly CSLL

• Preparation of accounting reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and their variations in USGAAP and IFRS;

• Analysis of results with robust explanations, aiming to correct classification errors;

• Prepare and control management reports to control personnel and administrative expenses

• Inventory conference/reconciliation with analysis and understanding of the main differences between Gaaps;

• Understanding and monitoring Headquarters policies, ensuring full service;

• Carry out accounting versus tax reconciliation on a monthly basis, ensuring and supporting differences with robust analyses, aiming to correct process and/or systemic errors;

• Preparation, analysis and delivery of ECF, ECD ancillary obligations in accordance with current legislation;

• Preparation and monitoring of delivery of other ancillary obligations, such as: BACEN, Census of Foreign Capital, IBGE.

• Delivery of internal controls relevant to its activities;

• Support for external and internal audits, preparing information, explanations and collecting documentation;

• Support in business projects such as: changes or adaptation of legislation, ensuring that accounting classification standards and procedures are being followed;

• Assistance in delivering documentation for inspections;

• Identification of opportunities for improvement in accounting processes;

• Develop improvement processes and systemic implementations regarding management reports;

• Review of the chart of accounts and accounting scripts;

• Accounting support for other areas, Management and Board of Directors

• Follow-up of reconciliation issues with the responsible areas.

• Control and reconcile the acquisitions, write-offs and depreciations of Fixed Assets, through ACT;

• Contribute to the operationalization of specific projects and/or internal controls;

• Monitor and support improvements, optimizations or development of systemic reports;

• Carry out analysis of ongoing imports, checking with financial reports, purchasing department and tax documents, in order to maintain the reliability of the balance sheet;

• Carry out other activities related to your role and work process procedures, as necessary;

• Know and comply with the company's internal procedures and code of ethical conduct;

• Develop, maintain and comply with the area's procedures and work instructions;

• Support for general projects

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting Sciences

• Postgraduate degree in Controllership

• Active CRC

• Experience with Accounting practices adopted for multinational companies (Local GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS

• Experience in preparing closing reports

• Have worked with SAP - FI and CO modules

• Advanced office package

• Knowledge in BI

• SYNCHRO Knowledge

• Knowledge of Tax legislation

• Travel availability

• English: intermediate level – Advanced (differential)

• Minimum 5 years experience
