The Logistics Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the objectives of the Operations Team at ChemTreat. The Logistics Operations Analyst will be responsible for acting as a subject matter expert in vendor contracts, TMS rates maintenance, and logistics invoicing. You’ll be part of a highly engaged team-environment of talented Transportation experts working to bring innovative solutions to drive processes for improvement in logistics. This position is in Glen Allen Virginia and will be on-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

•Interacting with Logistics management requests to assist in price negotiation analysis.

•High level review of logistics invoices for payment, including ensuring proper documentation and approvals are received.

•Researching and responding to payment discrepancies by performing analysis in ERP system in a timely manner.

•Act as the go-to team member with regard to transportation rates and contracts •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop key performance indicators/metrics (KPIs) for monitoring and evaluating team performance.

•Calculate vendor performance scores and facilitate periodic performance reviews.

The essential requirements of the job include:

•Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations Research, Distribution, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

•3 or more years of Logistics/Transportation/Distribution/Operations experience with a focus on project management, optimization, and analytics is highly desired.

•Understanding of transportation, supply chain management, manufacturing, warehousing, and business finances highly desired.

•PMI, CPSM or APICS certification highly desired.

•Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

•ERP and TMS experience highly desired.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $68,000-$75,000 per year. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
