Description

Global Program Manager for the supply chain program of one of our large retail customers. Taking a strategic view of the global operational program delivery, ensuring clear linkage to customer’s overall strategic goals and objectives. Owning and orchestrating global flawless program execution and optimization for this customer, working with regional team members to ensure customer operational requirements are well socialized, while relentlessly driving optimization of the existing customer program, and implementation of new programs, across active geographies. Actively pursuing overall bottom line improvement for the defined customer program, creatively developing new solutions that are cost effective and improve the overall customer experience. Taking a leadership role and sharing impactful solutions amongst team of peers.

Key Accountabilities

Ensuring flawless global operational program delivery

Owner & driver of strategic operational roadmap for existing and future forward program implementation and delivery

Driver of KPI delivery for the global customer program, ensure metrics are monitored and actioned

Relentlessly focus upon mission of program delivery, ensuring no disruption/no distractions to execution of global customer program and flow of merchandise

Optimize current program; find efficiencies; suggest alternatives where beneficial to customer. Actively orchestrating the Global Program Management team to achieve this. Actively driving collaboration amongst internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.

Remove any barriers to program execution; relentlessly escalate with purpose of swift issue resolution and derive new approaches to persistent issues if current solutions do not solve for them

Facilitate best practice sharing amongst community of peers, in an effort to incorporate learning's from other account programs into relevant facets of owned customer program

Qualifications

Education

University Degree in Business Administration, Operations research, Supply Chain Management or comparable field

Comparable to at least 5 year experience in operational account management for a 3PL

Experiences

Comprehensive experience in operational optimization, driving efficiencies in processes and KPI development & management

Skills

Knowledge of e-commerce, supply chain, and distribution strategies and industry best practices

Exposure in the retail industry will be an advantage.

Passion for creating a brilliant customer experience

Excellent analytical skills

Strong understanding of supply chain networks and able to identify operational efficiency improvement opportunities

Ability to have impact without direct authority

Able to engage and establish relationships on different levels and within different cultures

Strong presentation, facilitation, and consultation skills
