Tompkins Community Bank IT Services and Operations Manager in Pittsford, New York
Overview
Develop and implement IT services that align with business needs to optimize service delivery and facilitate sustainable growth. Manage IT systems and supervise multiple teams to ensure efficient and effective IT service delivery. Contribute as a key strategic leader in IT operational and strategic planning to drive innovation, productivity improvement, and resource optimization in line with business objectives. Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of complicated tasks.
Responsibilities
Supervise the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of IT systems encompassing data, voice, and collaboration services, servers, end-user devices, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
Conduct benchmarking, analysis, reporting, and provide recommendations for enhancing IT systems' performance and scalability.
Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement data-driven and automated initiatives.
Leverage data analytics to enhance decision-making processes and elevate customer experience.
Lead programs and projects, ensuring team members adhere to effective project management practices.
Develop, design, and oversee technology programs to address corporate objectives and industry challenges.
Consult with business units to assess existing systems, processes, operational procedures, and user requirements to offer operational and strategic guidance.
Partner with the Information Security team to deploy secure and reliable solutions.
Monitor the quality of work delivered by external vendors and ensure compliance with company standards and SLAs.
Manage the financial aspects of multiple IT departments, including procurement, budgeting, and financial reviews.
Establish and enforce IT standards, policies, and procedures related to security, disaster recovery, IT operations, and service delivery to support the company’s operational objectives and comply with company-wide policies.
Maintain a high level of technical proficiency across various technology domains to enhance user productivity.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in technology related. A Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a technology leadership position and demonstrated management and supervisory skills required.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in technology related position preferred.
Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills.
Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Working knowledge of information systems, networks, and telecommunications.
Project management skills sufficient to manage large projects.
