This role provides operational insight and analysis based on examination of existing data and business experience. Manages projects on various strategic initiatives ensuring tactical objectives/milestones are met. Collaborate as necessary on IT enhancement and integration activities.

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Monitor and facilitate the transmission of enrollment data to carriers and validate the successful loading of that data into the carrier’s systems.

  • Monitor projects & regular scheduled tasks to ensure that deliverables are being completed efficiently, accurately and timely according to established guidelines.

  • Meet all deadlines, regardless of time constraints.

  • Document, track, and follow-up on open client issues. Work across departments and systems (customer systems, internal systems) to research, analyze and resolve questions/issues concerning system functionality and performance.

  • Participate in Continuous Project Initiatives, representing the needs of branch users and other back office personnel; fosters an environment of partnership, professionalism, and respect internally and with other business units.

  • Assist the Operations Support queue to ensure reported branch and back office issues are resolved timely and accurately.

  • Approximately 5% business travel

  • Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.

  • Occasional long, irregular hours.

  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 3-5 years of work experience within the benefits industry.

  • Exceptional Computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic database knowledge with basic networking experience.

  • Experience documenting business requirements and/or standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to provide standardized and ad-hoc reports in an organized, professional format.

  • General understanding of SQL and utilizing it for data extraction and analysis.

  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.

  • Must be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Must possess a strong analytical aptitude.

  • Exemplary attention to detail, with a very high level of accuracy.
