Job Description

A development team at a state government agency is seeking a senior developer to join their growing engineering team. This individual will be working on a suite of customer facing applications that support legislators, lawmakers, and other public officials. You will often jump between multiple tech stacks and pivot to new project work frequently in this role. Someone who is a self-starter, has experience working in ambiguous environments, and is open to helping develop junior engineers, will be a fantastic fit.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience may substitute, year for year, for the preferred education

• 8+ years as a full stack, object-oriented developer with hands-on experience implementing and deploying modern solutions using Microsoft technologies

• 8+ years C#/.Net development within both legacy and modern applications

• 6+ years JavaScript/ Angular development within both legacy and modern applications

• Proficient in SQL server and the ability to write complex queries

• Proficient with design patterns, specifically in multi-tier application design

• Proficient in DevOps/CI/CD and building out delivery pipeline

• Familiarity with agile development practices

• Experience maintaining web and Restful APIs - Experience working within Azure development/ Azure Cloud

• Background in networking null
