Job Overview The Global Logistics Analyst supports the Global Logistics and distribution strategy by collecting and analyzing data and recommending solutions to improve process quality, cycle times and customer satisfaction. Key Job Responsibilities Collects and analyzes data for trending, six sigma quantitative improvements and balanced scorecard metrics Supports global logistics and distribution strategy with detailed analytics and improved technological applications Manages and measures inputs and outputs associated with 3PL/4PL and logistics processes that link order demand and customer requirements throughout order to cash process Collaborates with domestic and international departmental teams for daily support and managerial oversight of inventory flow, risk and claims management, insurance, compliance, data management, and ad hoc logistics requests Provides oversight and input to optimize delivery of product and services, helping determine the vendor/partners that can achieve cost reductions and service goals Conducts analysis and research on logistics improvements, practices and policies with deter defects, improve cycle times and improve customer satisfaction Develops and improve upon packaging, load building/planning, and physical constructs involved with logistics programs. Drives logistics improvements based on detailed cost benefit analysis from idea stage to full implementation Analyzes and recommends solutions for technology-based solutions for aspects as broad as load density to cube utilization, accessorial charges to labor productivity, claims to RMS\'s Design logistics programs that continuously drive best practice, meet quality standards, and focus on total cost management 15% travel required Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Business or Supply Chain.
