Insight Global Trade Operations Analyst in New York, New York

Job Description

A large financial services client is looking for a Trade Operations Analyst to join their organization. This firm is both a technology and trading firm that builds electronic trading platforms. This person will be involved in the full trade life cycle and oversee various functions including settlements and investigations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clearing and settlement processes across asset classes: Equity, Fixed

Income, Derivatives, FX, Commodities, and Crypto

  • Affirmation of trades, minimizing risk and maximizing straight through processing

  • Daily reconciliation of position, trades, cash, NAV, and fees

  • Investigation of breaks raised by trading desks, other departments, and counterparties

  • Reporting metrics and statistics that enable the team to make decisions and constantly

improve the department

  • Maintaining reference data within our systems

  • Liaising with vendors for troubleshooting and improvements

  • Owning and resolving specific inquiries and ensure timely resolution

  • Assisting in automation efforts and process improvements

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services operations

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or other related fields

  • Fundamental awareness of global markets

  • Aptitude and desire to learn new things and quickly adapt

  • Great analytical and communication skills

  • Interest in post trade infrastructure

  • Python or SQL experience a plus null
