AKM Construction Services Corp Project Manager in NEW HYDE PARK, New York

Job Duties: Coordinate, schedule and manage construction management activities. Expedite contract requirements, identify and resolve construction problems as they develop. Develop project specific procedures and documentation and consult with client on design and construction contracts and related architectural and engineering systems for the project. Coordinate and monitor activities of contractors, engineers, architects, and related sub - contractors. Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records. Manage material submittals and track long lead items. Ensure that material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and compliance with specification and approved submittals. Assist the project team to comply with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports, weekly updates to the monthly updates to the construction schedule. Ensure contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements. Monitor all shop drawing and submittals for compliance with the contract specification and work on submittal schedule, contract documents and company reporting requirements. Attend required jobsite meetings. Ensure project team adheres to safety standards. Lead project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and status. Track and monitor project submittals, approvals, schedules, and changes off the contract. Perform Close out the project in compliance with the contract documents.Job Requirements: Required Master’s or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.

Minimum Salary: 154149.00 Maximum Salary: 154200.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
