Role Summary/Purpose

The FP&A Operations Analyst will be an integral part of the GE Onshore HQ FP&A team, reporting to the Senior Onshore Wind FP&A Operations Manager. Responsible for monitoring and driving cost-out actions within GE Onshore Wind, partnering with all P&Ls and functional leaders. Independent in problem solving and decision making. You will engage on and provide deep data analysis, data organization & streamlining, GL connections to the ledger into accurate forecast & pacing models.

Essential Responsibilities

• Own analytics around key cost lines and drive thorough understanding of important drivers: develop a thorough cost understanding

• Support cost transformation/reduction initiatives

• Develop in-depth knowledge of SG&A and Fixed costs. Use prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cost control as well as corrective action plans as needed

• Support the business cycle- 3 year plan, budget, forecasts and actuals for Income Statement, with main focus on Structural costs.

• Focus on execution of P&L activities. Support pacing, closing, and ledger reporting of financials on a monthly basis.

• Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems, build and improve finance processes and control development. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelors in business, finance or applicable field with at least 3 years of experience in Finance.

• Excel expert.
