Honeywell Engineering Technician II in Moca, Puerto Rico

Be part of the Electronic Solutions Test team that builds electromechanical hardware for highly complex test equipment setups. As an Engineering Technician II, you will be responsible for the assembly fabrication of the electronics test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electronic assembly fabrication tasks according to drawing specifications and IPC workmanship standards

  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure the accuracy and functionality of electronic assemblies

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic components as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Up to 25% travel may be expected.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Must Have:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role

  • Associate degree in a technology, technical or relevant field

  • Ability to speak, write and read English

We Value:

  • Experience with IPC 610/620

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and electronic drawings and schematics

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic components

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
