Functional Behavior Services Operations Manager in Marquette, Michigan

Functional Behavior Services (FBS), a locally owned provider of behavioral and mental health services, seeks an experienced and professional Operations Manager *to join their team in *Marquette, Michigan.

This unique position requires a candidate with a diverse skillset to oversee billing operations, manage human resources functions, and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $20.00 -- $25.00 per hour starting pay based on skills and experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

Billing Supervisor.

  • Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for billing purposes.
  • Address billing inquiries and discrepancies with clients and customers.
  • Generate regular reports on billing performance and key metrics.

Human Resource Specialist.

  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide support in resolving HR-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records and facilitate performance reviews.

Office Manager.

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a productive and welcoming work environment.
  • Supervise administrative staff and delegate tasks to support efficient workflow.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration.

  • Collaborate with management to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR and office-related matters.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to process improvements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • 3 or more years' experience in a billing, HR, and office management role preferred. Experience working in a medical or therapeutic professional office a bonus.
  • Degree, certification, or training in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field a bonus.
  • A professional manner at all times with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of billing processes, HR practices, and office administration.
  • Strong computer/office software experience (Microsoft Word & Excel, HRIS software) required.
  • Ability to perform data entry, invoicing, and billing tasks using computerized systems.
  • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Through your interactions, you instill confidence, trust and discretion with our clients and staff.
  • The successful applicant must be able to pass a federal and state background screening.
