RELX INC Account Manager-2 in Manila, Philippines

Job Summary:

The Clinical Solutions Account Manager will be responsible in managing the accounts assigned to him/her for a specific territory or discipline. The Account Manager is in charge maintaining his/her Upsell/Uplift goals, Book of Business and/or retain the customer base by renewing their annual subscription aligned with business strategies. and to potentially grow the existing customer portfolio by actively hunting opportunities within the existing customer base and/or identifying new business opportunities for Elsevier Clinical Solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage an existing book of business (i.e. in charge of renewing customers with existing contracts)

  • Meet Sales Team Objectives including but not limited to the following:

  • Retention activities through working in advance

  • Generate Upsell opportunities and convert forecasted pipeline to sales

  • New Business

  • Engage with customers to verify user experience and identify pain points

  • Drive conversations based on mutual understanding with customer needs and addressed with value-led proposals

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to extend positive customer experience

  • Other duties maybe assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of Inside Sales/Account Management experience handling existing customer portfolio preferably within a prominent organization where solution and consultative selling approaches were used

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

  • Experience in a corporate / B2B sales environment preferred

  • Advanced communication skills

  • Strong detail orientation with the ability to follow defined processes

  • Strong time management skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience in handling Salesforce and Evolved Admin tool is a plus

  • Must be in current role for 1 year

  • Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months

  • Must not have any Attendance and Punctuality issues in the past 12 month

  • Must have a Successful or above rating in the last Enabling Performance cycle
