Job title: Loan Operations Analyst

Location: Manchester

Role Purpose: CBRE is seeking a Loan Operation Analyst whose primary responsibility will be supporting the Asset Managers and Loan Administrators in all aspects of the servicing of allocated commercial real estate loans.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Monitor commercial real estate loans performance in the UK and continental Europe.

  • Provides general customer service to lender and borrower clients.

  • Manage the set-up of new loans in loan servicing system and responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of loan information.

  • Manage loan document files and document imaging.

  • Administration and bookkeeping of the transaction.

  • Setting of interest periods and reference rates applicable for each period.

  • Provide assistance as required to Asset Managers in responding to borrower’s Audit enquiries.

Desired technical skills and experience:

  • Relevant work experience in the real estate finance sector.

  • Experience with legal documentation.

  • Strong numerical skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.

  • Debt due diligence and transaction management expertise preferred

Desired interpersonal skills:

  • Strong client facing and communication skills (interacting with both investors and borrowers).

  • Good presentation skills

  • Team mentality and relationship builder.
