The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for leading the overall day-to-day operations of the convenience store while performing efficiently and effectively within the policies and guidelines set forth by the company. A successful candidate can immediately address compliance issues, analyze a P&L, recruit, and develop employees. We are located in Lucama, NC and this role pays $45,000. If you've managed a fast food location or convenience store, but are looking for a smaller family feel where your employer truly cares about your development, this might be the role for you.

salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Develop and meet specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for C-store sales, gross profit, labor, shrink control and profitability on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis

  • Provide training and development of Store Managers & Assistant Manager by utilizing company resources and all appropriate material available

  • Mentor and provide consistent feedback to Store Managers to improve their performance and the performance of their locations

  • Ensure key process are in place through store visits, store and staff evaluations and data analysis

  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained on a daily, weekly quarterly or annually basis, based on manufacturer recommendations

  • Oversee the work and schedules of employees

  • Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations and profitability

  • Hold and attend regular store staff meetings to discuss policies, new processes, programs and safety issues
