Stock Yards Bank & Trust Management Associate -Paris / Lexington Rd in Louisville, Kentucky

As an Assistant Branch Manager aka Management Associate, your day will be filled with opportunities to assist customers with a wide variety of retail banking needs and provide back-up and support to the Office Manager. Customer service and cash handling experience combined with math and balancing accuracy skills are important while Stock Yards Bank & Trust will provide a professional environment to continually improve the candidate’s skills to further his/her career goals for advancement within the banking profession.ResponsibilitiesDaily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Retain and expand current customer relationshipsOpen new accounts, perform account maintenance, process and close loansConsultative Selling - Engage existing clients and prospects to uncover needs and offer solutionsPerform Service Associate duties including, but not limited to, processing deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, balancing a cash drawer and processing teller work through image captureAssist with team building & motivation - Track results vs. goals, conduct weekly team meetings and coach employees Supervise staff on a limited basis to support Office Manager - Assist with interviews, performance appraisals, employee development, disciplinary actions and schedulingLead, exemplify and coach to 212º commitment to serviceResponsible for customer relations including complaints and inquiriesResponsible for office operational processesMaintain up to date with changes in bank operational policies and procedures while making recommendations to improve efficiencyRepresent the bank at community functionsOther functions as required.Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent - BS/BA business related field preferred2+ years of banking experience.Banking knowledge beneficial, computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word)Organizational skillsAbility to adapt to a changing environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a teamProfessional appearance and demeanorBenefits401(k) with a company match of up to 6%ESOP employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCancer / Disease insuranceAccident insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings AccountsHumana Go365 Wellness & Rewards ProgramBank paid Life / AD& D insuranceVoluntary Life / AD&D insuranceBank paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
