Professor (Psychology Chair)

Cornell University seeks a visionary leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Psychology. This position presents an exciting opportunity to lead the recently expanded Psychology Department, with faculty, staff, and students from the former Departments of Psychology and Human Development. The Chair will oversee a distinguished faculty with broad scholarly interests and expertise and a department with deep traditions in ecological, translational, and evolutionary approaches. The ideal candidatewill be an internationally recognized scholar with an active research program and a strong record of external funding. The Chair will provide leadership to advance the department's climate of collaboration, transparency, and shared governance; foster the intellectual and career development of faculty; and enhance the department's graduate and undergraduate educational programs. Pay Range: $109,500 - $329,600 Actual salary offers will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills.
