Position Summary

The Senior Payroll Analyst Payroll Reporting and Finance Americas will serve as the Finance team’s primary contact to address all queries, including account reconciliations and analysis for ALL countries under Americas payroll. They will also be responsible for providing all ad hoc reports as needed for Corporate tax, Finance, Risk and other departments.

Detailed Position Responsibilities

  • Build & maintain long-term relationships with customers & key stakeholders.

  • Work with the Finance team to resolve all GL interface and finance queries opened via ticket in ServiceNow for all countries.

  • Fulfill periodic / ad-hoc reports for the management team and / or other internal customers based on requests after reviewing with Assoc Director AmericasPayroll to validate the relevance of the requests. Responsible for managing inventory of requested reports, including the recipient and frequency

  • End to end processes and business understanding of payroll to general ledger and items that impact the posting to GL

  • Assist Assoc. Director of Payroll with data analytic projects as needed

  • Manage the WC reporting and questions for WC annual audits.

  • Manage and document all Local Work Instructions (LWI) and Knowledge Base (KB) information relevant to the role.

  • Back up to reconcile any out of balances for funding of tax invoices from Payroll vendor, pay variances between GL and third party vendor posting.

  • Back up to managing LATAM Finance cases

  • Primary Liaison with BMS Accounting

  • Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge and remain up-to-date on current trends and best practices for payroll reporting and reconciliation.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various Americas countries Payroll .

  • Knowledge of SAP Payroll reporting and SpinifexIT reporting tool a PLUS

  • Experience working in a shared services environment.

  • Excellent customer service skills Strong knowledge of HCM and payroll systems like Workday and SAP, specifically ADP GlobalView.

  • Advanced MS Office ( Excel). Must have advanced knowledge of pivot tables and V lookup . Macros a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Clear and logical thinking

  • Takes ownership of the areas of responsibility and delivers a high quality of work.

  • Ability to assess and promptly resolve problems.

  • Knowledge of ADP Smart Compliance a plus.

  • Ability to successfully manage client expectations and work/operate well with various personalities/capabilities in cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities..

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Respect for confidentiality.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum 2 years Account reconciliation experience or equivalent.
