    The Global Engineering IT Manager is responsible for ensuring that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Engineering Systems are fully operational. The Manager will oversee the governance of various security standards, policies, and procedures. The Manager will work with auditors, software suppliers, accounting, finance, procurement, information technology teams, and other corporate departments to implement and support software for government and energy programs.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the firm managing global applications from over 100 vendors in Engineering Systems from vendors such as, but not exclusive to, Ansys, Aspentech, Autodesk, Aveva, Hexagon, and Bentley

  • Work closely with vendors to ensure Customer Success Plans.

  • Perform Quarterly Business Reviews with suppliers for compliance.

  • Oversee the portfolio and staffing of approximate 60 staff members globally: including United States, United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, and Australia.

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external teams to deliver application services in alignment with our core values.

  • Provide technical advisory to projects on applications and solutions.

  • Review new software requests from business and technical teams for rationalization against the current portfolio.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams related to security, infrastructure, procurement, asset management, and overall IT and Business groups.

  • Responsible for budget of departmental labor, software, and overall cost management related to engineering systems.

  • Demonstrate advanced analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for technical engineering staff to use and abide by for software implementation and support.

  • Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally

  • Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment.

  • Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience.

  • Other duties as directed.

    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    Education & Experience

  • 10 - 15 years industry experience in engineering application implementation and support

  • Strong knowledge in the following areas: Database administration, Networks, Security, Desktop, Operating Systems, database modeling, architecture

  • Bachelor’s degree Management Information Systems, Engineering System discipline, or similar degree from an accredited university

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred, but not required.

    Work Environment: Generally, remote environment, but will involve in person office occasionally. In-person meetings are required as needed, and will require limited travel to global locations for project work efforts estimated at <10%.

    Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen with Proof of U.S. Citizenship

  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

  • USA Government Clearance is preferred, but not required.

  • 7+ years’ experience with Engineering application system delivery within the Process, Information Management, Marine, Civil, Piping, Mechanical and/or other engineering disciplines.

    Physical Requirements

  • May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (<5% of the time)

  • Equipment and Machine setup with teams in offices (<5% of the time)

  • Standard KBR laptop will be issued, but other devices for remote work are not provided by the company.
