C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. Customer Service Rep I in Houston, Texas

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing a high level of service through our telephone and email channels. Customer service inquiries would include orders, customer service resolution and follow-up to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Proficiency in handling customer interactions via phone, e-mail and mail.

  • Effectively manage work hours and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

  • Process requests for order entry and product questions from customers.

  • Ensure accurate order entry and timely feedback to customer inquiries.

  • Responsible for researching and resolving complaints, product inquiries or ordering to ensure customer retention and satisfaction

  • Travel Required:No

Environment and Schedule

  • Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

  • Schedule: Monday - Wednesday and Friday: 10AM to 7PM CST and Saturday 9AM-6PM CST (off Thursday and Sunday)

  • Training onsite for 3-4 weeks (Monday - Friday 7AM-4PM CST)

  • After training and evaluation period, the role transitions to fully remote (may require onsite presence if experience technical difficulties or performance issues)

  • Must be local to Houston area

Skills

  • Specialized Knowledge : Able to read and interpret manuals, documents and memos, Able to communicate with customers and co-workers

  • Special Skills : Math skills: able to calculate figures and to apply common sense problem solving, Able to work with others and independently in order to complete tasks as directed by the management staff.

  • Bilingual Spanish and English speakers preferred

  • 0-2 : Related experience and/or training.
