Job Description:

Elevator Worker Position for Swanington ADM

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain grain elevator equipment, including conveyors, scales, and grain dryers.

  • Monitor grain quality and make adjustments as necessary.

  • Load trucks and railcars using equipment.

  • Perform routing maintenance and repairs on equipment.

  • Keep accurate records of grain inventory and transactions.

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Life Critical Responsibilities would include:

  • Powered Industrial Equipment Operation ( Skid Steer, Tele-handler, fork lift, Boom lift)

  • Working from Heights (190')

  • Climbing ladders (20 - 30 ft per ladder section)

  • Climbing & descending stairs on bin tops in excess of 50 feet.

  • Confined space work with extreme temperatures.

Basic Skills:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, bending or kneeling.

  • Working in a variety of conditions such as Hot, Cold, Dust, etc.

  • Lifting up to 50lbs unassisted.

  • Assist other team Members when needed, watch out for the safety of the team.
