We are currently seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer who can leverage their experiences to directly impact new product launches within Productivity Solutions & Services (PSS) & Aftermarket Services lines of business.

In this role, you will use your knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering fundamentals to help deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of Productivity Solutions & Services products supporting new products from concept through Aftermarket Services, with an emphasis on process development, serviceability, quality, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support new and current product engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing processes.

This role is located in Fort Mill SC office and is a hybrid position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Critical team members play a key role in new product development and execution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are designed for serviceability.

• Determine manufacturing/service processes, procure and set up equipment, create work instructions.

• Incorporating new manufacturing processes into the design, such as semi-automation and alternate manufacturing techniques

• Support production teams.

• Root Cause Corrective Analysis.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering

• Experience working in influence-based roles within large, matrixed organizations and working cross functionally with other functions

• Experience of MS Project, Excel, PPT

WE VALUE:

• Experience in the use of Six Sigma/Lean tools and concepts.

• Presentation and communication skills (customer, Supplier)

• SAP experience or similar ERP tools

• Basic C# (visual studio) programming skills or desire to learn.

• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to focus on important information and identify key details.

• Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes.

• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.

• Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done

• Skillfully navigating different roles and tasks
