Vectrus Logistical Analyst (Modernization Divestiture and Repair Site) in Fort Liberty, North Carolina

The Logistics Analyst is overall responsible for conducting reviews, analyzing and collection of data, and reporting progress status and updates in support of the Modernization Divestiture and Repair Site (MDRS) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The Logistics Analyst is expected to communicate and work with section Supervisors and other stakeholder as directed by the MDRS Manager. This position requires a complete understanding an extensive experience with Army logistical systems, processes and procedures related to the receipt, turn in, lateral transfer and storing of Army equipment. Must possess vast knowledge and ability to properly analyze information and data, conduct trend analysis and development of projection models necessary to accurately monitor program milestones, process and objectives. E valuates contracted supply, maintenance and transportation capabilities, performance data, and statistical information; and makes recommendations regarding supply, maintenance and transportation o perations. Performs all duties as directed by the MDRS Manager. Duties may chance to support operations as needed.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

  • Develops and performs analysis of operational performance standards to measure effectiveness and determine methods to increase overall operational management efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

  • Tracks and analyzes and reports on metrics related to project performance and man power utilization. This includes data retrieved from Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).

  • Conduct equipment and provisions status analysis to ensure a valid requirement remains.

  • Familiar with posting methods in GCSS-A at the property book or maintenance level.

  • Reviews and evaluates operations that support the receipt, turn-in, storage, and shipping of Class VII equipment.

  • Analyzes data, and provides recommendations to ensure property accountability and maintenance compliances.

  • Evaluates plans and assures the implementation of corrective actions/changes to reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns.

  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Proposed Sourcing Decisions (PSDs), Decision Support Tool (DST), and the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP).

  • Implements processes that improve efficiencies and reduces operating cost.

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of issues pertaining to property accountability, and asset visibility procedures.

  • Assist all external/internal customers with property accountability questions.

  • Identify changing trends in property accountability and asset visibility, and reporting trends back to Division Property Book Officer for resolution.

  • Complies with appropriate regulations, forms and procedures pertaining to property books, hand receipts and other property accounting documents.

  • Establishes and sustains effective communications with the Customer and Vectrus Leadership as required.

  • Assists in recruiting qualified personnel to serve perform the duties of the PWS.

  • Performs other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.

    MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

  • Computers, Fax machine, Copier, Printer and Phones.

  • Personal computer systems, Microsoft Office Programs, any other pertinent software and general office equipment.

  • Steel Toe shoes may be required to be worn in designated areas.

  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, such as a Face Mask that covers nose and mouth.

  • Use of Government Furnished vehicle. Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.

    WORKING EVIRONMENT:

  • Majority of work will typically be in an office environment. However, there will be requirements to work in a warehouse environment.

  • There may be times when an employee is exposed to extreme hot and cold weather conditions.

  • A normal work week is 40 hours (5 days a week).

  • Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires.

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and a minimum of 5lbs.

  • Physical requirements include lifting, climbing stairs and extended sitting or standing.

  • Personnel Protective Equipment such as a face mask that covers the nose and mouth are required.

Qualifications

MINIUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.

  • Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) certified at the property book or maintenance level.

  • Logistics information Warehouse (LIW).

  • Decision Support Tool (DST).

  • Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP).

  • Logistics Information System (LIS).

  • Logistics Integrated Database (LIDB).

  • Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP).

  • Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS/FEDLOG.)

  • Extensive Knowledge of all applicable Army supply and maintenance regulations and DA Pamphlets.

  • Able to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

  • Valid state driver’s license required.

  • Forklift licensed preferred.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)

  • Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or U.S. Passport.

  • Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Installation.

    EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in military logistics including property book, or maintenance operations at the Division level and below.

  • Operating Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) (or applicable LIS) at the property book, and maintenance level.

  • to account for Government property, and posting all property transactions in accordance with the AR 710-2, DA Pam 710-2-1, AR 750-1, DA Pam 750-8, and the GCSS-ARMY operating system manual.

  • Must possess in-depth expert knowledge of U.S. Army logistics, supply, and maintenance program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to supply/property book accountability and supply areas of logistics operations.

  • Maintaining all historical files, supporting documents and other required records; ensuring all files are stored IAW the Army Records Information System (ARIMS) Administrative Adjustment Reports, receipt, issue, and transfer documents.

  • Responsible for compliance with all properly authenticated directives within established guidelines.

    SKILLS:

  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and around tight deadlines.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PPT, Word).
