Korry Electronics Manufacturing Engineer in Everett, Washington

What You Will Do: We're looking for a manufacturing engineer who can apply their technical and analytical skills to drive innovation and provide great value to our customers and end users. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions to real world challenges across the full product lifecycle, from new product development to sustaining.   • Provides focus and dedication to reducing cost and increasing productivity, through process improvement or applying new technology on in the manufacturing process.
  • Determines and develops the method, operations sequence, equipment, layout and tooling for the fabrication of parts, finishing and assembly, components, subassemblies or final products. 
  • Lead role in implementing lean systems in the production flow.  Develops manufacturing guides, procedures and illustrations to assist assembly personnel. 
  • Provides training and sustaining support to personnel involved in the manufacturing processes. 
  • Works with design engineering to make products more producible, for parts obsolescence issues and to develop methods to implement design changes. 
  • Assists in the determination of causes for rejected parts and their disposition.
  • Determines the feasibility and cost effectiveness of reworking parts and provides instructions and support to perform rework. 
  • Plans and improves production methods including production flow, tooling, manufacturing methods, and production equipment. 
  • Investigates and implements corrective actions based on customer returns
  • Participates on PFMEA (Product Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) team and takes actions to eliminate the highest risk items. 
  • Estimates manufacturing costs and determines time standards.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
  • Understand and live by Korry's ethics and business conduct policies

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Electromechanical design experience is a plus
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry is a plus

Salary Range: Please note the typical hiring range is $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
