Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, Supply Network Planning

The Supply Network Planning (master planning) Analyst is responsible for creating and executing strategic production and planning strategies to support customer demand. The candidate for this position must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving the strategy objectives in a fast paced environment and be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management. This role will drive planning information systems development, continuous improvement to optimize production outputs to lead planning analyst’s daily production plan. This position works closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Transportation and Customer Service to create and maintain a master production schedule that ensures customer delivery and quality requirements are achieved.

Essential Functions

  • Create, review and revise master production plans to support demand within inventory guidelines through forecast analysis and capacity analysis over 12-18 weeks in advance.

  • Translate and navigates projected forecasts (S&OP), sales demand and manufacturing rebuilds into a production plan with time-phased build schedules to protect seasonal demands.

  • Develop 3PL optimization strategies and present to regional operations teams.

  • Individual will execute master production plan to guide planning analysts on strategic level on production schedules.

  • Monitor and adjust forecasts to meet changing customer needs and ensure MRP drives accurate raw material requirements.

  • Review, manage and lead SKU and lane discussions to meet current strategies with S&OP.

  • Recommend production sequences and solutions to meet customer orders.

  • Serve as an effective liaison among other functional departments within the organization.

  • Work with cross-functional partners to continuously improve forecast accuracy, demand planning efficiency, transportation routes and loading, and customer service.

  • Utilize system reports as well as experience and judgment to meet production and sales requirements.

  • Continuous Ad-hoc Analysis for Core and Specialty planning to drive initiatives

  • The mentor for team member training sessions

  • Assist in Regional projects with Planning Managers

  • Have 3+ years of planning experience

  • 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

  • 2 Years – Experience in Position

  • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects

  • 10% - on average travels 2 week out of the Year

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

  • 4 Years – Experience working in Position
