Creative Director (Onsite Hybrid - Diamond Bar, CA)

The Creative Director leads the creative vision and direction for Niagara, reflecting our values and mission. The Director of Creative Design will oversee every creative expression of our brand across all channels and touchpoints translating concepts into impeccably produced creative executions (visual and written assets) that are reflective of our brand and our voice.

Essential Functions

  • Establishes and curates the visual brand guidelines across all assets in design, copy, video/photography to build consistency of brand look and feel.

  • Protects the brand. Heads and directs the overall quality, innovation, and creative vision.

  • Directs and oversees creative department by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organization goals.

  • Translates business and marketing objectives into clear, design strategies.

  • Provides effective solutions to best utilize resources to achieve objectives while staying relevant and on-trend.

  • Supports event graphics and experiential design.

  • Contributes to overall marketing strategies.

  • Translates marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.

  • Advises on brief design, structure, and process.

  • Oversees deliverables, timelines, and budgets on creative development.

  • Oversees quality control and consistency across copy and art direction.

  • Based on consumer and market insights, manage, direct, and inspire internal and external creative teams across the core creative pillars: design, editorial, photography, video, and brand experience.

  • Stay up to date with new innovations and industry trends.

  • Uncover innovative ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into campaigns.

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to deliver creative ideas, strategies and design across all product categories and brand led initiatives.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.

  • Serve as a senior editor and writer for all copy and content for marketing and brand activities.

  • Direct and manage outside ad agencies, PR firms, and production partners for creative campaign development and execution as needed.

  • Drive ongoing website efforts, evolve, and optimize all sites, improve branding, messaging, and engagement.

  • Implement best practices for processes and creative operations to ensure that creative deliverables are prioritized and delivered on time and on budget.

  • Manages and develops the design team.

  • Provides direction and leadership to freelance resources where appropriate.

  • Manages and leads creative reviews and presentations, while successfully presenting concepts and powerful narratives for senior management, sales teams, and external audiences in order to influence business and creative decisions.

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$172,689.00 - $250,399.00 / Yearly

Bonus Target: 20% Annual
