Responsibilities

Public Consulting Group, LLC. is currently seeking a Child Welfare Quality Assurance Analyst to work on projects focused on federal funding and associated claiming. This position will be responsible for quality assurance and reporting related to Title IV-E federal funding that is available to child welfare agencies.

The Title IV-E program provides federal reimbursement to states for costs associated with children at risk of being placed in out-of-home care or that have been placed in out-of-home care.

The Child Welfare Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for reviewing Title IV-E eligibility determinations (e.g., family composition, household income, licensure of foster care settings) in state systems and assessing Title IV-E eligibility criteria in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Additionally, this position will be responsible for elements of Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) projects, such as conducting staff trainings, answering staff questions via email inboxes and/or hotlines, reviewing information submitted by child welfare staff for accuracy and developing quarterly reports based on the information submitted and developing reports.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills who is interested in supporting the work of state government and/or human service organizations.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Review client records for information necessary to assess Title IV-E eligibility, including review of electronic case file, relevant legal documentation, and relevant financial documentation.

  • Understand and apply the federal rules governing Title IV-E eligibility to assess each case accurately

  • Monitor performance standard measurements for Title IV-E eligibility activities.

  • Review RMTS information for accuracy and develop reports in Microsoft Excel

  • Provide information and technical assistance to client on revenue management activities.

  • Participate in state and federal audit inquiries.

  • Maintain positive working relationships with the client and colleagues.

  • Foster an attitude of information sharing and open discussion among colleagues.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $62,000-$72,000 and a potential discretionary bonus of up to 10%. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
