Role Summary This role will be the lead for Payroll, Time and Attendance, Absence Management, which includes system configuration, enhancements, and deployment efforts, and the responsibilities below. Responsibilities Serve as an advanced subject matter expert within Workday Payroll, Time and Attendance, Absence Management. Perform analysis of existing business processes design and identify and evaluate possible re-configuration/ solutions in response to business issues and challenges. Partner with Payroll and Benefits to provide input into new processes, prioritize projects/enhancements, map business processes, implement creative and effective solutions that will shape the way Rivian operates now and into the future. Partnership with IT and cross functional partners for integration requirement, data integrity and testing. Partner with the People Insights and Analytics team to ensure data is complete, accurate and appropriately mapped for reports, dashboards, and downstream reporting systems. Provide mentoring, coaching and support for People team members including Payroll and Benefits. Implement new and support existing Payroll-related solutions, projects, and products. Provide functional and technical Payroll-related subject matter expertise and thought leadership. Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and execute testing in support of system and user acceptance testing. Document existing and new functional and technical specifications, payroll policies, processes, requirements, data flow, etc. Provide direct and indirect support to teammates with Payroll-related issues. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in Payroll procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years functional and technical HRIS/Payroll design, configuration, and administration experience 5+ years specifically with Workday, 1 full life cycle Payroll implementation (preferred) WD certifications for Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking Willingness and passion to learn additional Workday modules.
