The position consists of, but is not limited to accurately and efficiently cleaning and sanitizing Milk Tankers and other related equipment. Also covers Milk Receiver position as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform chemical concentration tests
Assure that the milk tankers are sanitized to meet government standards
May perform clean-up tasks
Move tankers in a safe manner with the yard dog as required
Operate manual and/or automated C.I.P. equipment as well as perform manual cleaning
Disassemble, wash and sanitize equipment
Monitor turbulence, temperature, timing, and concentration of cleaning chemicals
Disassemble and assemble automated air valves and pumps
Synchronize washes for efficiency to minimize downtime
Comply and ensure compliance with Master Sanitation schedule
Ability to access machine problems and related issues effectively and communicate to maintenance and management.
Maintain accurate CIP logs
Relieve Milk Receiving personnel for breaks, lunches and shifts as necessary.
Maintain environmentals in a zone management structure.
Meet departmental safety, quality and productivity goals.
Follow and enforce established policies, processes and procedures and report any violations to management for corrective action.
Proactively interact and communicate inter and intra-departmentally to ensure consistent and efficient work flow.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Pay:
$26.68-$33.35
EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities.
2 years experience in fluid plant or similar dairy environment.
Experience as a Milk Receiver preferred.
SKILLS:
Safe and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and CIP unit operations
Must be able to drive yard goat
Application of first aid and emergency procedures
Using a safety harness; will be required to climb high, restricted areas

Mechanically inclined
Understand and comply with safety and operational policies, procedures, standards, specifications and processes.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Understand and implement Good Manufacturing Practices
Maintain excellent attendance
Class A CDL preferred.
LANGUAGE:
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
EDUCATION:
Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:
Weighers and Samplers license.
