Senior Ultrasound Technologist, St Josephs Hospital-Chewelah, WA

Coordinates sonographic imaging services with care providers and staff to provide quality patient access and care. Performs modalities of Ultrasound exams, including vascular, echocardiography, and general ultrasound proficiently to provide PSJH Radiologist/Cardiologist with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Participates in the growth and development of the DI department including staff development/training and evaluation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management.

Shift Details:

• Part time, 0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week, Day Shift

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training - 2 years of college appropriate to the field.

• National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire. Or,

• National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• 2 years - Ultrasound experience.

• Registry or experience as a vascular and echocardiography sonographer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
