Job Description

The opportunity

The Capability Development Manager will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs focused on knowledge transfer, skill development, and performance improvement for our sales distribution teams covering Advisors, Leaders, and Sales Management Teams. This role will ensure that our sales force has the tools and capabilities they need to achieve success.

Responsibilities

Program Design & Delivery:

  • Training programs to sales distribution teams across various geographical locations (may involve travel) including but not limited to the following:

  • (1) Standardized Leader Development Programs

  • (2) Engaging and effective training programs that address identified needs, incorporating a blend of learning methods (e.g., instructor-led training, eLearning modules, simulations, coaching).

  • (3) Learning & Development roadmap for the Sales Management Team.

  • (4)Provide ongoing coaching and support to reinforce learning and address individual needs.

  • Partner with subject matter experts and sales leadership to identify learning objectives and program content.

Governance Implementation:

  • Establish and maintain governance structures for L&D initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and compliance standards.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.

  • Prepare regular reports for leadership, highlighting the effectiveness of learning initiatives and suggesting areas for improvement.

  • Manage the training budget and ensure efficient use of resources.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, or any business-related courses.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in leading teams.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a sales environment.

  • Proven experience in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to develop engaging and interactive training content.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Ability to delivery results through teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) a plus.

  • Travel required.
