As a Sr. Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of complex Payroll issues impacting Restaurant team members. The position is responsible for running pay calculations, completing retroactive calculations, and reviewing and approving final documentation required to be saved for internal/external audit and backup. This role will also coordinate team training and provide support to the Payroll Manager. They enjoy problem solving in a fast-paced environment based in our Atlanta Support Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, process, and generate Restaurant payroll via Workday

• Audit, review, and reconcile Restaurant payrolls on a weekly basis

• Review supporting documentation/backup for weekly audit reports distributed to Payroll Coordinators

• Assists in Training (virtual and in-person) and Development of Payroll Team Members and New Hires

• Responsible for team-building activities and training

• Document and maintain best practices, including DLP’s for payroll processing and implement new procedures as needed

• Maintain a high level of customer service through timely resolution of escalated issues

• Import Time and Bonus files

• Complete Retroactive payments and audit differences

• Assist with research and resolution of complex payroll related matters

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality for all payroll-related items

• Support the Payroll Manager by handling escalations and internal/external audits

• Completes ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by payroll leadership

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma required

• Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred

• FCP or CPP preferred but not required

• 3 – 5 years of payroll processing experience required

• Experience with Workday or comparable software preferred

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong computer skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet critical deadlines

• Ability to work in a highly structured team environment

• Ability to maintain strict adherence to outlined procedures

• Ability to have a flexible work schedule due to work volume fluctuations
