The Opportunity

Abt Global Business Operations and Resource management team is seeking a highly motivated analyst who is passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to streamline operations and optimize resource allocation. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing informative dashboards and reports, enabling strategic decision-making and performance optimization. Reporting to the Business Operations and Resource Management Manager, the analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and drive operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Generate and distribute regular reports to support the business goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including working with the Operations and Standards team to create metrics and generate reports for other process areas such as total utilization, training reports, project health, project management training and certification, etc.

• Utilize analytical tools and techniques to identify emerging trends and patterns, enabling proactive interventions to drive operational improvements.

• Analyze business needs and design solutions to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Assess project demands, resource availability, and constraints to develop resource allocation plans.

• Monitor resource utilization trends and make proactive adjustments to ensure optimal resource allocation.

• Develop and implement resource planning strategies to align resource allocation with project demands and organizational goals.

• Optimize resource utilization by identifying and resolving conflicts, bottlenecks, or imbalances in resource allocation.

• Assist in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with standards and processes.

What We Value

• Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD + 0 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and modeling.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with the ability to create interactive dashboards and reports.

• Proven experience in process improvement and project management.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns within complex datasets.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $72,000 to $115,000 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
